Uruguay is to ask Venezuela to avoid any reference to the
country in Latin American channel Telesur pending approval
of the agreement that sets forth its participation and that
has not been submitted to the Parliament yet, Uruguayan Minister
of Education Jorge Brovetto said Thursday, as quoted by AFP.
"Uruguay is not a party to Telesur yet," Brovetto commented

following agreements with Argentina, Uruguay and Cuba.
The Uruguayan Government wants Caracas to refrain from mentioning
Uruguay as a partner and to remove the native symbols from
broadcasting as long as the Parliament endorses the agreement,
which shall be submitted "as appropriate."
